Camping without
the campground.
Mackenzie Creek Campsite is booked by one group at a time. There are no neighbouring sites, shared amenities or rows of caravans—just a large, level camp area beside the seasonal creek.
Bring family or friends, spread out with two or three vans, let the children explore and give the dogs room to enjoy the fenced site with you.

A real family farm
Close to town.
Far from busy.
The campsite sits within our 110-acre working family property in the foothills of the D’Aguilar Range. Dayboro is ten minutes away for supplies, cafés and the pub; back at camp, the valley feels comfortably removed from it all.
Walk the property, meet the Dexter cattle, follow the creek or settle around the fire. There is no program to follow and very little competing for your attention.

Conditions change with the seasons, so we would rather be clear about what to expect before you arrive.
- Dogs
- Dogs are welcome at the fenced campsite. Pets are not permitted at the Homestead accommodation.
- The creek
- Mackenzie Creek is seasonal. It can run strongly after rain and may be shallow or dry during extended dry weather.
- Drinking water
- Bore water is available for camp use, but guests should bring their own drinking water.
- Connectivity
- Mobile reception is limited. Plan for a genuinely switched-off stay.
- Campfires
- Use the established firepit only when local fire restrictions and conditions allow.
- Vehicles
- The large, level site suits tents, camper trailers and caravans. Confirm access with us before bringing an unusually large rig.
